Photo Booth Fun

We had a little too much fun with Photo Booth today. The girls had never seen it before and it was hilarious. Maybe you had to be there, but here are some of my favorites.

Family Fun

July has been filled with lots of family fun!

At the beginning of July I went to Texas to see the Hardys. We went to the parade, celebrated Molly's first birthday, ate at fun restaurants, and played in the rain.

Stay tuned for more family fun...

A Good Day

Saturday was a good day because I forgot about all the millions of things I needed to do.

Instead I ate lots of these yummy treats...
While reading this terrific series...
And today I am playing catch up!

Kevin's Birthday (Part 2)

Last year family members near and far wrote messages to Kevin on a balloons and then sent them up. I liked that idea and I thought it was a good way to remember Kevin on this special day. So we launched balloons to him again this year. Here is our fun in pictures.

Happy Birthday Kevin

(I still think that tractor (er, lawn mower) is sexy, and who doesn't love a nice farmers tan?)

Today is Kevin's 31st birthday, so I am celebrating him. It has been a day of reflection, a day of wondering.

What would Kevin look like?
Would we be living in the same house?
What would we do for fun? Would it change?
Where would he be working?
Would I be working?
Would we have kids?
What is Kevin doing in heaven?
He doesn't age, right? (No fair!)
What kinds of friends does he have?
What knowledge does he have?
Does he feel the same way I do?

Even though these thoughts have been floating through my head, I have also been thinking how much better for him it is that he is there. And even though I really hate it sometimes, I am grateful that I am here, having the experiences that I am having. Someday we will get to have experiences together. Until then, I will celebrate each passing year and remember my sweetheart!

Love ya babe! Happy Birthday!

4 1/2 More Days

4 1/2 more days of school. That's all I wanted to say. I think it is quite an accomplishment. My first year of 6th grade down. Hopefully this week will be full of good memories and fun, a happy ending to a wonderful year. I'm sure going to miss those kiddos!

Questions

These are some of the questions I have had in the past couple of weeks. Oi!

Where do I fit in? And where do I go from here? What does it mean to move forward? If that includes meeting people, how in the heck do I do that? Who are my true friends? Why have I lost contact with so many good friends? How do I fix that? How do I become a better friend? How do I nurture family relationships? Why do I get along better with people older and younger than me? Why am I so afraid to put myself out there, be crazy? How do I become a better person? How do I find my place on this earth? Is it where I am right now? Should I be doing something different? What are my talents? How do I share them? Why do I hate the phone? Who is going to take care of me when I get old? How does my house get messy so fast (it is just me and Dawn)? Why is a clean house so important to me? How am I doing spiritually? What do I need to improve in that area? Why do I like TV so much? Is school ever going to end? Where is summer? What will I spend my summer doing? How will I get everything done in the next two weeks? Where is my confidence? How do I quit asking questions? Is that the best thing? Does asking questions help me improve?...

The list just keeps going and going, just like the Energizer Bunny. (Should I have capitalized E and B?) How do I stop these questions?!

I am finding my own answers, so don't worry about answering them for me. I just found it interesting that I actually noticed myself asking a lot of questions lately.

Why do I like the couch I am sitting on so much? (That's one I can answer right now.
It's because it is SOOOOOOO comfortable!)
