Summer

Before math today, my students got the let's-stay-focused-until-June lecture. I explained that I know they are excited for summer, but there's still a lot of work to do. This was brought on by inattention and chat, chat, chatting. Anyway, I told them that I was just as excited as they were about summer and that I know there are only 26 and a half days left of school, but let's keep working hard!. One of the girls raised her hand and said, quite shocked, "Teachers count the days until summer too?!" As I chuckled, I said that yes, we count down the days until summer. Hopefully I am not the only teacher that does that. Love my kids, but can't wait for summer!

26 days and counting...

Crafting

McKale and I decided to make these fun rings that I saw on Studio 5. Super easy and I think they are super cute. Thanks McKale for keeping me company!

Spring Break

Coloring eggs...haven't done that in a LONG time!

Spring Break is here...and almost gone...and I haven't even seen spring! So far, it has been fun watching General Conference, spending time with family, and getting things done.

Today mom and I traveled to Grandma and Grandpa Washburn's house. After 4 days of cold and snow, the weather has decided to clear up a bit. Monticello is cold and windy, but at least the sun is shining.

Now it is time for reading books, working on school stuff, finding projects to work on, and eating lots of good food! I may not get a tan (well, I never get tan) but at least I will get to relax a little.
